Lakers Head Coach Mike Brown has been fired.
This is probably the best thing for Mike considering Kobe was planning his murder.
Just like that….wow. On top of that, Mike Brown’s son got death threats on Twitter because of his own dad’s struggle with the team.

Interesting…A lot of history in one photograph.
The sign though is referring to the Giants were this close to moving to Florida that same year when they were bought by a group from Tampa. Former A’s owner Wally Haas prevented that move and was kind enough to give territorial rights in the San Jose/Santa Clara area for the possibility of Giants to build a new stadium in that area in case somethings fails in SF. NL owners rejected the purchase of the Tampa group and this prevented the Giants to move (Tampa still gets a baseball franchise several years later with the Devil Rays/Rays). On the other hand, Giants still retain the territorial rights that Mr. Haas gave up to this day and is now leading into complicated matters with the new A’s stadium.
